Reading some of the recent controversy surrounding the battles between the media and Prime Minister Harper about asking of questions has driven me to ask a question: Why does the media think that they represent the Canadian people?

Who elected the Parliamentary Press Gallery? They are representative only of their individual news organizations, not the people of Canada.
